As an affiliate marketer, you should already be aware that promoting affiliate programs through Google AdWords will likely produce lucrative results. Starting a campaign on Google AdWords can be very easy if you understand the basics and can become very lucrative if you master them. The key to promoting affiliate programs using Google Adwords is to concentrate on maintaining a low CPC (cost per click) and finding the right niche to promote your pay per install affiliate program.
To be successful with Google AdWords, affiliate marketers need to have a high “Quality Score”. This means that an affiliate’s account history, ads, CTR (click through rate) and landing page must follow certain standards. Google has become one of the highest powers on the internet and if an affiliate marketer does not follow its rules, their PPI affiliate program ad campaign will likely be banned or deleted.
When starting out with a new campaign, do not just concentrate on building a massive list of keywords. Try not to become fixated on simply driving traffic to your ads. Instead, concentrate on the motto “quality over quantity” and focus on building sales, leads and proper customers. Spend time researching highly targeted keywords that will be geared towards users who are genuinely interested in your product.
Every affiliate program landing page or advertisement you use should be centered on the targeted keywords. Density of these keywords should be over 4% but below 70%. Do not try to randomly insert keywords that are completely out of context into an advertisement. Always make sure to have the main keyword or keyword phrase in the headline of your landing page.
Internet marketing always sounds easier than it usually turns out to be. Most likely, you will have plenty of competition bidding for the same keywords and selling the same products. The trick is to find a niche pay per install affiliate program with a high gross profit margin and a large group of profitable keywords. Spending time finding such a program will always be worthwhile.
Using Google AdWords for Pay per Install affiliate programs will likely make you money if you know what you are doing. However, if you find yourself struggling with high CPC rates and low CTR, there are smaller advertising networks that will allow you to test campaigns at a more affordable rate. An advertising option that is growing in popularity is CPV (cost per view) or pay per view (PPV) marketing from DirectCPV (http://www.directcpv.com). With much lower rates than search engine CPC, DirectCPV is proving to be a great economical alternative to Google Adwords.
